Two links below. First is how to burn and what software, second is link to maps. I just used it on my S4 25quattro last week and it worked great. You will need DL DVDs. I just grabbed a 25 pack of Memorex from BestBuy and the first burn worked. Now if we can find the 2015, or have everyone pitch in to buy one and then rip it...$250 for the new one lol Audi F U.

    NiteA2T,

How did you generate the mds file? I tried using the instructions from the site you provided but made 2 coasters. Did you just burn the image without the mds file? TIA

    Hello,

I have tried to burn this image using two different kinds of DVD burners, which one of them is Lite-On iHas 424 Y, and used ImageBiurn and Nero Burning RoM. The RNS-E is not able to read the disk correctly. I first I thought that the laser pickup was bad, because the RNS-E is about 8 years old. I have replaced the laser pickup and still it is not able to read the disk with the image posted here correctly. Any advise how to get it working? I have followed the instructions posted in this thread as well. I don't want to waste anymore DVD discs, as I've already messed up about 10 of them. Thanks.

P.S. I have an older image, I think from 2010, which works perfectly fine.

    hi
your RSN-E which version firmware?? because with the last map work fine with 0650 software version , then for your image you must use IMGBURN with OPC activated and change the BookType to DVD-ROM if you a DVD-RL+

The RNS-E SW is 0260, and HW:50. I thought the SW for USA is 260, and EU 650. The BookType in Image Burn is configured as DVD-ROM for DVD-DL type.

I successfully updated my 2007 Navigation software & maps (0200 software on my RNS-E) to 0260 using this file, thank you!! Used my laptop's DVD-RW drive (tcorp dvdwbd sn-406ab), first try even, using Memorex DVD-R DL discs.
