Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
Actually i'm unsure why 'Other' is included in the poll at all. Why would you vote even for eTrex 30 against Montana or Monterra which are fully featured [albeit at least twice the recommended retail price of a 30 which in turn is almost 3 times as much as a 10]?
Then again, why vote for a 10 if you could have a 20 or 30? On reflection, why have a poll at all? eTrex are usually bought on price imo. People just wanting to have a little fun with geocaching on the weekend can get into it with a eTrex 10 for around 100 bucks. Serious hikers/off roaders wanting a spare in case their serious unit 's itself or goes over a cliff or into the rapids might want to have one in their kit too. The 30 on the other hand has some serious mojo. Otherwise, including 'other' is kinda like asking a nuvi user if he'd prefer a 4x or a 3597.

I voted other too, I like my 62 I'd like my O600 so much, but it's a bit buggy actually, but hope dies the last
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
The reason there is OTHER is because there are other Etrex models besides the 10/20/30
Well let me explain...
When I went down the track of GPS I bought the Etrex 'H', the yellow one without any maps. was so impressed with it over the years that I thought that Garmin must have made some big improvements over the years when they released the new Etrex range, DOH!
Boy was I wrong!
- The Etrex 10 is the same compared to my old 'H'! It's only saving grace is a USB port, that's it!
- The Etrex 20 is much much better and more stable but slow in every way (eg USB 1.0 - why?). The GUI is incomplete with no detailed OEM help instructions available.
- The Etrex 30 is the same except the compass, altimeter and temp options are unreliable ( firmware) and can't be disabled when they go haywire! Avoid.
But I needed to see Bluechart maps while on the water and as I only really use a GPS while I'm moving the 20 got the nod.
The 20 is great for fishing and bush walking, but generally I use the simple 'H' to find my way back to the car in huge event car parks.
Perhaps Garmin should stop Beta testing their products through external retail sales and do it before launch!
The 6X+ series looks great but where I am located it's serious money and I don't trust Garmin to live up to their claims.
I tend to buy at the end of a GPS model run now not the start...

But when you have amazing stuff like this coming out...
iPHONE Speed Tracker: Most accurate GPS Speedometer, HUD and best Trip Computer, Version: 5.0.1

...Garmin will need to 'wake up and smell the batteries' once the non glass flexible polymer iPhone comes out (2015/16)!

This series has very compact size and it is its advantage only. eTrex 10 is chip as say Neil but 20 and 30 has the same price as older GPSMAP brothers and I think it is not the best quality-price ratio. So eTrex 10 has the right for wretched existence but 20 and 30 must die

I bought my Etrex 20 new for $160 and I got all the maps for free which is not too bad.
I'm getting very used to it now (gladly) after my initial desire to smash it against a wall!
Here are some older Etrex models that I termed as OTHER in the poll..
