Default confusion: what's the deal with this "Israel" version?

Looking for an Android turn-by-turn navigation app, GPS only, I'm also considering iGO.

But what's the deal with this "israel" version? That would be quite limiting isn't it?
Tutorials are also hard to find, the tutorial section has 3 stickys but 1 for navman and the other two are very cryptic...one handles double DIN format which, I am guessing, points to in-car radio units...

Some pointers would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Adriaan

This Israel version is not limiting at all, you should not worry about this. To my understanding you will always see in the sticky threads the latest iGo. Over the last few months this happens to be iGo Israel or Basarsoft.

Regarding a tutorial. I have seen in the past in other forums a guide for primo 1.1 which should be OK. Myself I learnt it by trial and error ...

Yes, This version is the newest at this time. the software engine is the same for all, each local distributor update the software according to bugs. (there is no real software change)
You can download the free version - it usually shown up at USA ET evening time on google play.
then you can use 7zip to unzip the downloaded files and add your maps - or to use the new ******* version.
the best way to learn iGO is by trying. just play with it - NOT when driving though.

What is confusing to me is what is new and better in this version and how the different screen sizes must be set up.
Like 960x540 in portrait and landscape?
