    Default Blank gmapbmap.img needed

I'd like to use my Zumo 500 with no map at all, but if I cancel gmapbmap.img it's not possible to navigate at all!
Please, can someboby tell me where I can find a blank version of gmapbmap?
I mean with simple geographics but no roads.
    Thx

the task is to be able to use non-Garmin maps without basemap roads overimposed to non-Garmin map roads

basemap disappears when you zoom in, btw you can change drawing priority in non-Garmin map with GmapTool

You have to navigate to get to the good.

last time I was in Tunisia I put in my Zumo this:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I say for sure that I was seeing two roads into the screen: a detailed one from Tunisia map and another from basemap, very straight.
the problem is to deactivate basemap, but without deleting it because nothing works without it

Caty's idea is not bad. You can also use very old basemaps. There was one - 6MB. I think it can be found in internet.

You can use any map with renaming to gmapbmap.img I suppose!

Thx to everybody but I found a smarter (??) solution. Facts:

    -- my tasks were:
    - to keep Zumo RAM the emptier as possible (to achieve tha fastest performance)
    - to be able to change map quickly
    - to use non-Garmin (non routable) maps
    - to make Zumo work with no maps at all, with blank screen

-- Zumo is KO without a basemap: nothing works at all! So I was looking for an empty basemap, but it doesn't exists

-- non-Garmin (non routable) maps superimpose over basemap but in many cases you see two roads instead of one

Well, I found that Zumo may operate without a basemap if there is another Garmin map! (even in the SD only !)
So I cut a little piece of map (my city only or the pieces of track from home to first frontier) and I call it gmapoem.img so this is not selectable.
I put other maps in many SD so I can quickly change map when I travel from a country to an other.

There is also a failure: it's not possible to make Zumo work with no maps at all, with blank screen, because no navigation is allowed in a position non included in a map..............

    :-)
