How to convert a excel file format to GPI (POI)?

Hi.

I want to convert a file in excel format database containing geographic place names in a file GPI (poi).

Save file in csv format and try use GPSBabel or G7ToWin (free program) to convert coordinates to WGS-84. If you will be successful then use Garmin POI loader from software section here or from garmin.com directly.
