Do you have a question, write PM
I have been using Nextgen for a while now and I have noticed that when it announces the warning for over speeding it does not state the speed limit of the current road you are on. It says the following announcement;
"You are over sped, the speed limit is miles"
Does anyone know where this announcement is coming from I have checked the dictionary.voice file and the only line I can see is
The speed limit is %s!="The speed limit is %s!" and this does not state the speed limit value. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thx
I tried to run this, for some reason it will not start on my head unit. The 'Agree' button never lights up for me to enter Nav. I tried a few times, one of the times I saw a very quick error message come up, but it was to fast for me to read. My unit must have some additional check....
I have the extra file in the root folder called 'validator.dat' in my version of Nextgen. I never see it in any other Nextgen release. I suspect this is part of the problem.
File: validator.dat - 256 bytes
Spoiler: Validator.dat

Hi,
This might be a stupid question , what does the "validator.dat" do?
Can someone please explain why there are two tts directories in the root, viz:-
tts_nua_v5 & tts_nua_ve1.
and what is the difference in the two folders?
Are they both required?
Hi,
I've been testing this version on my in dash unit (WinCE6, 128Mb Ram, Roadrover D6505).
The general graphic performance is better than the Igo Primo.
So far I only have the following issues:
a) startup time: It takes about 25 seconds to start (iGo Primo will take about 10-15 secs), but the most annoying is that it won't show the loading screen for about 10 seconds.
It may be related to the UX config, but not sure.
b) Voice alert for radars: they don't work the same way as Primo. I need to test the last UX and check if it work.
c) Memory management: It seems to use more resources than Primo. I'm using LoqTTS7 voices.
Does someone have a working Sys.txt or guidance about how to improve this issues?
Brgds
